Hot on the heels of VP Joe BiteMe saying to a crowd of black people that Romney would put y'all back in chains, Mayor Villaraigosa says that Republicans "can't just trot out a brown face" to gain votes in the Latino community.

Marco Rubio was heckled this morning at a Fresh From Florida Breakfast. The heckler was escorted out and Rubio makes some jokes at his expense.

This is a great clip from Rubio Breakfast speech from this morning. He gets in a little dig about Charlie Crist who is now supprting Obama. Basically Rubio is saying "See I told you so".

Erick Erickson over at RedState is reporting that the GOP Rules Fight is NOT OVER. At 2:00 p.m. today in Tampa, the Republican National Committee, led by Team Romney, is moving to block grassroots consvervatives.

Obama Lover Supreme Chris Matthews thinks he is so smart by pointing out the the Tampa Bay Times Forum  was built in large part by government. He says 62% of the money was from government so Republicans should remember the convention center was built by government.

Here is the revised schedule for the GOP Convention in Tampa. Ann Romney will be speaking Tuesday night. Romney will be speaking Thursday. 

Party Officials have postponed the GOP Convvention in Tampa due to approaching Tropical Storm Isaac. The convention will convene Monday and then break until Tuesday afternoon.
